READ THIS FIRST:

Some folks have mentioned this point, and I should have earlier. The magazine spring stop shown here is held in place by friction - it's just a piece of sheet metal, really. Newer guns have a different spring retainer that's a "push and twist" style. Take note if you have a newer gun.

How to take apart your remington 870. See the second part here:

  • Thank you SO much bro. I could not figure out that those "feed lips" were there for the longest time and was unable to put my forend back on. I've never seen a stainless bolt on an 870 before. Looks nice. Knoxx Blackhawk makes a great pistol grip stock. They have a $65 adjustable one and a $150 one that is exactly the same, but absorbs recoil through springs. Speedfeed looks just like yours, but has a shell storage compartment. Didn't read your comments, so I don't know if you already got advice

  • @KevinAbbeyTech But I have a Break action shotgun and I always double-check to make sure that it's unloaded. Not sayin im gonna point at someone but, When my guns safe it really is safe. I think Break actions are the safest type of action there is.

  • @snarejaguar1 I was wondering about his plug as well.

  • If my follower wont slide out, does that mean i need to clean the mag tube?

  • Hope you dont go hunting with that thing without a plug in

  • But I have one ? How do you pull the magazine off ...my shot gun broke right at the edge were the shells go in

  • hey great video. best ive seen of this subject. the part 1 and 2 of this were A LOT of help. keep em coming!!

  • I say get a Mako Group forearm and stock, that's what I have on mine. Love it.

  • Speedfeed makes the best 870 tactical stocks. they are now part of the Safariland Corp. The worlds best tactical equipment.

  • Pistol grip pump on my lap at all times.
