A man whose joints have been bent for years and had become crippled was brought by his friends to the house where Jesus was teaching the gospel. Some people in the crowd chided Jesus when he told the cripple man, "Your sins are forgiven." In reply, Jesus said, "Which is the easier thing to say -- 'Your sins are forgiven', or 'Get up and walk'?"

Very powerful scene. What I believe Jesus was sayng is that we are all "sons of man" and that it is easier for us to say "your sins are forgiven" then "get up and walk"...

By saying "get up and walk", Jesus made the point: he also had the power and right to say "your sins are forgiven you". He does not call himself the messiah but the "son of man".

Man what courage it would have taken for Jesus to say he had the healing-power as the son of God. Just try & imagine how blasphemous that would have sounded at first to his people. Thank you Jesus for your Kindness & Mercy, & this awesome video of your life. Amen!!!
