@mschwodler The belt drive provides many of the advantages that a shaft drive does, but it still has exposed parts so it is not as durable as the shaft drive. It also requires very precise frame orientation to ensure that it remains efficient and in good working order. We like them we just like the shaft drive better. Shocking I know!

The Shimano hubs on Dynamic's bicycles are freewheel hubs so you can coast and backpedal at any time. In addition, you can shift while pedaling on our bikes. The gears in the Shimano hubs are forged and heat treated and designed for long term abuse. - Patrick, Owner
