Joe: *walks on stage*
The crowd goes wild and Demi and her friends turn their head towards the stage including Taylor of course ☺
Joe: Thank you. Before I start I have a few words to say. *hesitates for a moment* A week ago I met this girl. She goes to some of my classes. Well, we got paired up for a project and had to work really hardly. I actually had a lot of fun and soon realized that she's smart, nice, beautiful, caring... Just everything a girl should be. But the problem was she had the wrong friends. Yeah, she's friends with the so called losers. People we pass by in the hallway every day, people we meet at lunch, people we think aren't cool enough to be our friends. I was stupid and blind, so I acted all cool and ignored her instead of going to her and asking her to be my friend. I was afraid of losing my popularity because I thought that being popular was all that really matters. Yeah, I was afraid of showing all of you and mostly her, who I really am. But she figured it out anyway and was patient until I slowly opened up more and more. For the first time in years I felt happy again. It was perfect and could've gone on like that forever. *pauses* But then my so called friends gave me the ultimatum. I could choose between the girl of my dreams or my friends and my reputation as a popular jerk. *sighs* Well, I was definitely a jerk. I hurt her so badly without having any reasons to. I don't know why... I just did it. There's no way to excuse what I did, nothing to tell me that I acted right or at least not that wrong...
By that time the whole room was quiet and everybody was looking at the stage.
Joe: Long story short... *looks at Demi*
Demi: *quickly looks to the ground with teary eyes*
Joe: Demi, I want you to know that I'm truly and totally sorry for everything that happened. I know, I can't force you to believe and forgive me. What happened, happened and there's nothing that's gonna be able to erase the past. I can't turn back time and I can't undo all my mistakes, no matter how much I wish I could. I'd do everything to take away the pain. Every morning I get up and the first thing that comes to my mind is what a jerk I am. The fact that I hurt you so badly is something I must live with every day.
Silence
Joe: This song is for you.
Taylor: *turns around and leaves*
Joe: *starts to sing*
