I'm very excited to finally present this collaborative cover of Paramore's "Misery Business" by Lucas and myself. The whole premise of our cover was to do a hard rock version of this song and I think we came about as close as we can get to just that. I had a blast learning and recording the drums, it took quite some time to get my playing as tight as I needed it to be for this song but it was well worth the effort. The solo Lucas performed was more or less improvised. He knew a basic structure of how he was going to play it but he said just before we recorded it "I think I'll just let my legato improv take over" and shortly after that my jaw dropped listening to him nail the solo on the first take, improvised, at that moment. We hope you enjoy this and we have a few more projects we are currently working on together that should be coming in the future. Let us know your thoughts about this project and any ideas for future collaborations in the comments below. • that solo was awesome, totally didn;t expert it :D

very well done on both instruments!

  • @ATonyVideoProduction Thanks again, Lucas totally has me beat on instrument ability by a long shot but he has been playing a few years longer than I have. Glad you liked it I'll give Lucas a heads up on that.

  • Great job, is this your new channel or will you also keep posting on NuggetWRX?

  • @TheNextEpisodes Sorry it took me a week to get back to you I couldn't respond on my iPhone when I got the notification of the comment. I will be putting all drum covers/remixes/original material on this channel. NuggetWRX will be for videos of like a DSLR video cage rig I'm going to build and other types of non-drumming-related videos.

  • What was the price drum ? plz :)

  • @maxima002 Sorry I tried to respond a while ago but my browser would not let me post the comment, so now that it's working I figured I'd respond. Lucas was close to what I paid - and by close I mean really far off. Jobeky drums are really affordable but since shell costs change with paint and other kinds of associated fees, the best way to get a current price on this calibur of a kit (custom level, up near Prestige series range prices) is to either look on their website or email them. :)

  • 2:30 is the best part

  • Nice. Now you can teach me how to play Paramore, Lucas :)

  • @maxima002 It cost him his virginity. And his right pinky toe.
