Mario Paint Composer - Metallica - One (S&M)

This Symphony and Metallica arrangement was by far the hardest and most time-consuming piece I've yet to attempt, with all that's going on in it. With that being said, I know there are some parts in this that I overlooked, but I tried to cover all the parts I heard. There were also some major problems with the transcription of the strings during fast-moving parts.

I know there are some problems with the audio/video lag and choppiness, I'll explain in detail at the bottom of the description if you care enough.

This is also my first piece to really make use of a custom soundset. I used the Symphony soundset (thanks to cat333pokemon) with a few modifications:
Cats = 2-octave higher shy guys
Gameboys = some kind of harp.

Also, in the default soundset, I changed the following so I could cover the song's wide range:
Pigs = 2-octave higher planes
Stars = 1-octave higher gameboys

Forgive me and correct me if I screwed up any of the lyrics. I just added them because the vocals were kinda drowned out in a few spots.



I recorded the audio and the video independently because whenever I tried to record them together, one window would lag considerably behind the other. Recording only audio fixed this problem. But when I applied the audio to the video, it was still out-of-sync. So I had to resort to chopping the video at random intervals to get it in-sync; not the best method, but it's all I could really do without fancier video editing software.

i take my hat off to you sir.. considering its only a 8bit or 16bit (not entirely sure) you have done a very good job, james hetfield and micheal kamen would be proud :)
