As you can see, the machine is in perfect working order after being stripped, fully acid bath descaled, and expertly rebuilt by engineers trained at the La San Marco factory in Italy. La San Marco machines are hand built to last at the plant in Gradisca D'Isonzo. The same expert care has been given to the rebuild that was necessary following use in a very hard water area for 3 years without a water filter, leading to a troublesome build up of limescale in the boiler, pipes and valves (see clip "limescale" to see the boiler from this actual machine pre-descale!).
The strip down and acid bath has removed all traces of this limescale and the machine is now as good as new. It has been thoroughly tested (as our workshop espresso machine - and we really like our espresso so it has to be good to get our approval!) for nearly 2 1/2 weeks since rebuild and we will be sad to see it go.
It is an ideal machine for a cafe, bar or restaurant. Check out the spec. on the manufacturers website www.lasanmarco.it
It will be available on Ebay from around 9pm Thursday 30th April until Sunday 10th May. See "coffeemedics" on ebay.
