At GAAMC ( Gay Activist Alliance in Morris County (NJ) ) we had a yearly event called the $1.98 Beauty Pageant which was a comical drag show. There was a buck-toothed performer by the name of Dean Chin, who went under the drag name of Na-Na, who actually did a VERY SIMILAR schtick to "The Lonely Goatherd" back in the mid 1990's. Kind of a coincidence here. Dean did it for laughs and one year because of it, actually got named "Miss $1.98."
