Otter Love - Otters Holding Hands!

Ah, true love. Is there any OTTER? ;) If you've seen it before, it's still cute the next time! It's Nyac and Milo at the Vancouver Aquarium. Nyac is the blonde otter and she is 18 years old - the oldest female at that aquarium and a rare survivor of the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill. Milo, age 7, is a young male born at the Lisbon Aquarium in Portugal.

I was sorry to hear about her death. Nyac was quite an otter! She was one of a few otters to survive the Exxon Valdez oil spill. She then became the only survivor to successfully have a pup afterwards! I'm so glad we have this video to appreciate. :)

Otters rock. I remember feeling somewhat traumatized as a kid when I saw a movie where someone's pet otter was bludgeoned to death by the roadside..
