Here is a small tutorial on how to plug your guitar directly into your mic input on your sound card.
All you have to do is go to the propellerhead website and download the demo.
make sure you get an 1/8th inch fitting for your 1/4inch patch cable to plug into your mic input on your sound card.
once you open it up, u click on create/create audio track the on the blue lcd on the audio module, you find the mic in setting.
then your ready to rip..

u can use your own peddle or you can use the line 6 plug in by recordPropellerhead

  • Man you are my last resort, i hope you can help. I have a m audio interface fast track pro and i want to connect my guitar through there, i set up all the settings correctly but when i select new audio track it makes a loud beep feedback noise even when i dont have anything plugged in.... i cant solve this issue and its frustrating me, any suggestions?

  • @woahjoe23 It sounds like u have the connections in the wrong order. Check you connections and make sure they are in the correct order . or try changing your audio setting by going into the sound options and mess with the settings perhaps there is to many channels open .

  • I sound like Clevland Brown ?? lmao!!

  • I have a problem! When I turn on the green monitor button I get massive hum and feed back. The led lights on the audio track go to yellow and red. I have nothing plugged in for it to do this. I have checked my volume levels on my computer and everything is fine there. I wonder what it could be? I get a signal when I do plug my guitar in but it happens when my guitar or nothing is plugged as well.

  • Ya I get the same thing. not sure why it goes crazy like that but I guess u just have to have everything plugged in first volume down aswell just like plugging into a real amp.

  • Thank You! you would think propellerhead could make a video like this with the release... who the hell wants to read a manual?

  • Big thanks.

Figured it was possible. Just need clarification and I got a tutorial.

    Nice one mate.

  • haha! Clevland shreds!

  • Its Cleveland Brown

  • when i go to that audio input section like at 0:43 its not letting me pic the input i want.. did you run into this problem at all?

  • Really? It seemed fine on your video. I mean all I have to do is create an audio track and when the audio track comes up the green monitor light is already on so even when I import audio files to that track and the monitor is on it hums loud and has feedback. I dont have to have my guitar plugged in for it to do this. It does by just clicking the monitor button with nothing plugged in. Volume is always turned down so I think it could but some routing issue with the rack itself.
