@jacksmack77 You, then, clearly don't know how to read. Find one place that says baptism is a work of man, and not of God. Then, when you die, and God is about to send you to Hell, do tell Him that baptism was YOUR work and see what He says. I know I'm being smart here, but I'm serious. Find just one place that the Bible says baptism is by any effect OUR work. At the same time, explain John 3:5.
