This does not work on my 06 s60r. Not sure why.....not sure I really care though. Car rapes most cars anyway....with it on
-
@daekol not to turn off, just to reduce it. only by Rs is possible to completely turn off the dstc.
-
@skot53 Common sense will tell them to activate it on slippery roads,or in bad weather ,you will b just plain out stupid to leave it off in high risk weather conditions!

@mentos2424 kk im just wondering if I can have a bit of fun in this car :)
-
@pafro77 The S80 and the XC90 actually both came with the B8444S (V8) that Yamaha produced. (So technically you could have a V8 in the new V70 (V70 II) as they share the front body structure, but it's not availible at the moment as we know...)
I would like to too see one though.

@Niggagger There is no V70 with a V8. The only V8 Volvo did was the XC90

@mentos2424 correct

@wak133 It just disables some combination of the stability/traction control, but you still have all of the 4C Suspension settings along with the Haldex AWD online, so you'll probably get some nifty power slides in, but I wouldn't think that this FWD-biased frame is going to make a great drifter :(

Hmm, on my moms V70 its just to press the button one time to turn off DSTC. :S Its a 2006 Sport Edition..

This is specific to the S60R and V70R models - as far as I know, DSTC in all other S60 and V70 models for the P2 generation can be turned off with just one click

Good job sir, now salvage parts for our Rs will be much cheaper due to people skidding off of embankments and wrecking their cars due to DSTC being shut off! hahaha.
