2010 GE Reel Intern U.S. Finalist: The Spark of Leadership: Developing Talent at GE

What makes a strong leader at GE? That was the question a group of GE interns tackled this summer in a unique way. The interns were armed with video cameras and set out to answer that question by creating short videos. It was all part of the 2010 Reel Intern Video Contest.

In this U.S. semifinalist submission: Every day, GE invests in their employees to develop active imaginations, foster mutual respect, and inspire strong leaders. Through challenging opportunities, increasing responsibilities, and training, new leaders are born. As outstanding leaders advance throughout the company, others are inspired to reach for new levels, thus continuing the cycle of leadership.
