ufo sunday 6 May 2007 around 8.30pm Dumfries and Galloway area, this ufobject disappeared in to cloud.

im very suspicious when it comes to 'overdubbed' clips... and esp when there is no land view... too easy to manipulate!

im in Dumfries and Galloway, im a sky watcher too.... but im very skeptical about this!

Hi there,and thank you for the reply,great to see you are a skywatcher too,i would never manipulate any of my footage,there is not much land to see when i am looking up to the sky trying to get the best images of the object as i can in such a short time of the sighting,and hills and trees were the last thing i was thinking about there had been a few reports of a ufo in the area so i thought i would go take a look around and i think that this ufobject is what people were seeing.

Can't understand why someone using a decent DV camcorder cant get better footage,instead of the usual zooming in & out & wobbling all over the place which spoils all these types of captured images.I'm not saying it's not a UFO,in the true sense of that acronym,but putting X-Files type music on it doesn't give it any more credibility.A small lightweight tripod really isn't hard to carry,any pro photographer will confirm it as the easiest way to get better images.

Not sure you could get better footage with hand held,and when useing zoom.you could post a video up lets say film moving a car 50mh at 400 meters for 200meters i look forward to your video.

I went to Galloway park last year and saw UFO's. We went camping for 4 days. No car. Just on foot. Me wife, kids, and dog. Lots of hassle in the day time but worth it at night. 3 UFOs first night. Loads more the second and third night, although not as close.

For those that dont know Galloway has DARK SKY status and the amount of stars you see is imense. I know there are doubters but i saw these when the iceland volcano had erupted... but we didnt know that cose we were in the woods. Loved it

I am originally from Stranraer but now live in Canada. I remember a huge spate of UFO sightings in the area, all the way over to Moffat back in the '70s and '80s.
