They are both great artists... I've seen both of them in concert, and have been taught in clinics by both of them as well. They have very different aproaches to teaching how to sing and perform, but I learned great great things from both equally. As far as which one is better, it depends on what you are listening for. :)

I just heard fo him today!! A friend compared me with a voice she heard on the radio.....I've got a lot to listen to!! I'm very impressed...motivated..and stimulated!!
A wonderful singer does that to other musicians and singers..........

he's incredible. the way he scats at the beginning-- most of his singing seems so effortless yet just comes out so amazingly! wow!

I love brother Kurt. His music makes me so happy. I saw him in SF with Nancy King last month. He was fabulous.
