These classics are very rare to find these days. Have them bought from remastered collections and you will never go back. The once famous Djo Mpoyi in action.

Seeing these lovely ladies enjoy dancing with each other - I'll never be afraid to dance alone when the music moves me - and such a long time ago!!! So ladies, just dance when you feel like it - it may be the last time you do!!

its wonderful !!the franco guitar is superb! icannot get enough of djo mpoyi, thankyou for posting yet another live performance of t.p.k.o. jazz + the link to kekele!!i will suscribe larryboy!!!!!!!!
At 4:40, there's an edit that leaves out the song in the middle, unfortunately, because this is brilliant.
The version I posted also included Aimé Kiwakana, here it is Wuta Mayi. And on the version I posted, Lola Chécain sings the solo, here it is Djo Mpoyi.
Also note: Franco plays the Fender that he used on Ndunda (while his guitar on new material at the time, 1980 or so, was a Gibson Les Paul.

AS, thanks for the insight. I think whoever compiled the stuff put this in as an afterthought, because right before it, he stuck in about 8 seconds of Wendo kolosoy, and on the other songs he misnamed 'Mashata'...but its a great song, this one, especially the guitar solo!
