This song makes me feel free. I love the end so much! I think Darren could write something fictional or about someone else. I think he just dosn't want to. If I had the gift to express myself through musical poetry like this, then I would.

True story. DF says his weakness as a songwriter is that he is unable to write fiction and he admires songsmiths like Springsteen and country music writers who have that ability to put themselves in other peoples shoes, etc. < BTW I am paraphrasing Darren's comments which you can find online in more than one article.
