@FEINS1 Peter was used by his manger to fill his pockets . Vinnie only stopped the fight so he(vinnie) would be the center of attention. one of the people that helped Vinnie build his record told me recently that peter was was his (vinnie) cash cow. Vinnie liked to give the impression he was connected to the mob. the closest vinnie ever got to anyone connected was his friend from indianapolis and that helped him build peters record. dont think you used a poor choice of words .

@YourHaunting4LifeToo it wasn't such a bad idea to try to catch a rusty tyson sleeping. when you think about it, what else was a guy like mcneely do to tyson anyway, jab and move?

@drogheda1942 apologies for my poor choice of words. no, king didn't create the fighter, but he did create the illusion that he was a legit prospect for tyson when the time came, as per seldon, etc.

@FEINS1 mcneeley wasnt created by Don King, king just used him. he was created by his manager vinnie vecchione and vinnies friends. Big Al Braver was Vinnies silent partner. peter was a bum with a phoney record built on beating other bums. hell he fought the same guys twice and a couple of them 3 times.

@YourHaunting4LifeToo he was indeed a bum. my brother took several opponents to fight peter mcneely. all were told to tank it. peter fought the same guys twice and some of them 3 times. luis monaco fight record was 3wins and 3 loses when he fought peter mcneeley and he mugged him.
