@glock71391 Dude I cant belive this garbage If You were talking about a f20c maybe but the f22 was never meant to see 9k Im sure my b20v would blow your doors off and Im willing to bet my single cam zc will give you a run for your money..

no d16 will smoke a f22 shut up...i have a f22b no number jdm with stage 2 clutch and light flywheel. i break b18c's,a's,b's and smoke d series like nuthing..f22sohc MOST UNDERATED MOTOR. dont speak about f series if you never build one..they need no maintenance and really cheap pirce wise Most dependeble hondas are f's..all you need is a grand to make a f22 a 13 second car.. i know because i drive one

nice set up man.... just wondering if the stock d-series flywheel fits the f22b1 block or do you have to get get a custom flywheel.
thanks

Anyone no how to do the wiring in an ef? I got a 97 cl with a f22b1 that i got rear ended. I am taking the motor, wheels and tires, and the brakes and putting them on an ef when I can find a clean one that still has a good tranny. I have never done an obd0 to obd2 conversion before...
Update: Just got a F22a6 head that will flow MUCH better, and a 282/272 delta cam. Ill post up a new video when its finished.

pretty lame for the same amount of $ you could get a d16 to smoke that crap lol.

Haha, hardly. But thats why some of us build engines and others play on the computer. The amount of money invested in this setup would net about 25+HP in a D-series NA setup, and maybe a ghetto turbo setup. Neither of which would give me the midrange I have now, nor the driveability.

well y would u want to but a d16trans onto a f22b1 cuz with the whole block of f22b1 i think it is stonger on it's own then a f22b1 with a d16trans but i might be rite i might be wrong....

the D-series trans weighs aroud 65-70lbs, where the F series weighs almost 100 and the gearing is loooong and they have a very low final drive. the D16 trans can be easily found, are very very cheap, and have stronger gears than the B series. the weakest part of the D16 trans is the differential, but most performance minded people will get a LSD anyway. with the adapter kit, you can use your stock civic mounts, clutch, and shift linkage. you only have to fabricate the timing belt side mount.

you dont actually put it IN an H/F motor, but yes. they also have the adapters for H/F to B-series trans.
