@LokiTetch Goku is better. Vegeta did win the 1st time. The 2nd time they fought i'd call that a draw since Goku let his guard down and vegeta got him with a cheap shot. But you have to take into consideration that although Goku fought him asa SSJ2 he already had the ability to go to the next level when they were fighting.

they've only actually fought against each other twice, the first time vegeta won. he had to turn into an ape but he had goku thuroughly beaten until gokus friends showed up. the other time they were dead even until vegeta knocked him out with a cheap shot, probably a tie but could easily be argued that vegeta won again. vegeta just always loses to the villians (overconfident evey time)then goku goes to a new super saiyan level and beats them, thats the only reason he thinks gokus better

if it wasnt for the main character protection thing kakarot would be dead from their first fight and even with that protection he came seconds from death 2-3 times = vegetas the best =]
