Set in the heart of Port El Kantaoui, this pretty, whitewashed hotel has bagged itself a great spot. The towns picturesque marina, with its bars and restaurants, is just a couple of minutes walk away. Plus theres a 36-hole golf course on the doorstep.

The best thing about this place though, is the beach. It spans the length of the hotel, and is backed by lovely landscaped gardens. Walk through the gardens and youll come to a couple of swimming pools. Framed by spacious terraces and rows of trees, theyre great chill-out spots.

Theres an indoor pool, too, which is part of the hotels spa. The spa also comes with a sauna, a hammam and a selection of massage treatments, so its perfect if youre after a bit of pampering. Sporty types, meanwhile, can practice their serves at the tennis and volleyball courts.

When it comes to eating and drinking, meanwhile, youve got a few options. The hotels main restaurant is all about big buffets, while the theme restaurant gives you a chance to sample traditional Tunisian dishes. And for those al fresco lunches and evening drinks, theres a poolside bar.
