HELL - An Excessive Punishment Of Eternal Torment?

This is a compilation of the various videos I found on youtube that show why the doctrine of hell is sadistic and illogical. Scripture does not teach it, God's nature contradicts it, and our hearts reject it. Hell is a pagan doctrine adopted by the Roman Catholic Church, not a biblical concept at all. I recommend all who watch to be prepared to actually study scripture and not just quote your fallible English translations/interpretations of the Greek and Hebrew Bible as support. Study to show yourselves approved and do not be taken captive by deceptive philosophies.

"For God has bound all men over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them ALL." Romans 11:32

ETERNAL PUNISHMENT is a MISTRANSLATION.

AIONIOS is the "adjective" of the "noun" AION meaning properly an age or "Period of time" which has a beginning and a END!

Matthew 25:41-46
Jesus said "Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels... 46"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

And these shall go away to punishment AGE-DURING, but the righteous to life AGE-DURING.'

GOD is the most Gracious and the most Merciful.
GOD is very Fair and Just regarding Hell.

GOD IS LOVE.
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for[a] the sins of the WHOLE WORLD.

Eternal Life in Torment Hell OR Perish?

So, just to sum up. Luke 12:47-48
"The servant who knows... is beaten with many blows.
The one who does not know ... is beaten with few blows. "

So God is very fair and very just.

From this scripture we see that hell is real and people go there.

Matthew 5:44-48
Jesus said, "But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.... Be perfect (or mature), therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect."

Philippians 2:9-11
...at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Romans 10:13
"Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

God does not want to send anyone to hell.

Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23

" God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble."

Luke 3:6 And all people will see God's salvation.

God's not interested in fallen human reasoning. You show your true character when you say "yea hath God said" like the Devil when you say oh this word is wrong and isn't translated correctly and cast doubt upon His Word. Heaven and Hell is eternal, believe and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved, not in the god you create in your mind to conform with what is comfortable to you.

unfortanly hell is FOREVER and its in the bible! the torment will last as long as God lives and the bible clearly says that hes EVERLASTING! also if the torment in hell is temporal so must be the bliss in heaven u see it goes both ways!!..bottem line is that there will be ppl in heaven for all eternity and ppl in hell for all eternity simple as that!

Also, if we are all going to Heaven anyway, why was Christ so adamant that we do what he commanded? In fact, it's better to die now than live the Christian life.

The entire argument hinges on aionos, but that falls flat because it isn't the only part that talks about everlasting punishment. The rich man and Lazarus shows it by saying that people who end up where the rich man are can not cross the chasm to where Abraham and Lazarus were. Christ will also be separating sheep from the goats at the judgement. Why is there weeping and gnashing of teeth if they are just going to heaven anyway?

Almost all denominations believe in Hell as a literal place of eternal suffering and torment, therefore your interpretation of the Bible in which Hell does not exist as a literal place is aberrant, and you face the disapproval of 90% of Christianity. This is just one reason why I lost my Christian faith, all the differing, contradicting interpretations that claim to be right. If the Bible was truly derived from a perfect supernatural being it would be airtight and easy to understand, but its not
