I live in Washington DC and have seen many of the reggae roots legends during the 80s,90,s and early 00's when the city regularly featured top notch roots. Culture was always at the top of my list of must-see groups.These brethren in their long career never released a weak album EVER. I really miss the Roxy, reggae at the 9:30and theNation/Capitol Ballroom.RIP(rasta in peace) Jah Hill.We will always love you.

@culture77 Culture is arguably the most popular group in the world. It's unfortunate his followers cannot pay the dollars needed to award him the Grammys he so deserves. I am one of those who has recorded Culture cassettes and CDs free for lots of friends and have had others do the same for me - I believe Joe Hill just loves it to be this way. Most Kenyans don't know their National Anthem but they know most Culture's songs verbatim. People underestimate the power of Reggae music - the music of Afrikans home and abroad. The backup singers were rendered totally useless on this leg of the tour. Though I consider myself superbly blessed to have had an opportunity to participate in a handful of Culture's glorious performances here in the good ole USA, how I wish I was there to welcome the father of the Afrikan Nation back home.
