Psalm 23 - The Definition of Faith

There is no greater definition of faith than that provided by King David in probably the most beloved Psalm of all. Just reading it inspires me to believe in a God, who is at my side even as I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, and who blesses me in the presence of all my enemies. The triumphant note of confidence expressed in the goodness and mercy of God, at the end of the Psalm is the mightiest line of faith I have ever read.

No mightier lines of faith have I ever read, no lines of poetry have sounded more sublime to my ears than those of King David.
