  • a good guide to fallow is that when you sit down your but should alway be on the seat, and the bar,or handles in this case so be aligned with your nipple line, your useing ure triceps,,shoulders basically to lift it

  • Given your above advice it evident to me that you never lifted anything over 2 plates per side (maybe 2 and change) on Hammer Strength Chest Machines. If you have you would not why I did what I did. Take a look at any video where there is 4-5 plates per side on Hammer Line and see how the lifter initiates the start.

  • well i might of lifted 5 plates a side, but for a guy my size 4 plates and a ten for 8reps is pretty good, not to mention i used proper form,im not saying ure push wasent good, its verry excellent that u can press that,im just saying you will get alot more mustle stimulation and growth in your chest if u ,do it at ure nipple line ,u should sit down on the bench and itgthen the belt more making sure u dont cheat

,cuz it looks like u got alot more space underneat u,just tryign to help ye out

  • I thought you were talking about the initial start by "should alway be on the seat" and if you start like that with this weight you will tear a pec. You are correct lower seat position/handle at nipple line will increase ROM which = better muscle stimulation/recruitment. But you will need someone to help pull the handles at the start to get into position without injury. I get shitload of comments on hammer/ curl vids and seldom on squats/dl/bench/press and those are the ones that really matter.

  • nice weight there but aren't you a little high on the seat? the weight is coming as low as your stomach and its only a few inches off your legs, its more like a dip

  • It's a machine so there is some leeway. I picked this position because it felt better and I could actually get into position to press some weight. Sometimes you just gotta nut up and rep it out.

  • why is the seat so high up? The higher the seat, the easier the lift!!!! Dude, get your ego check and use less weight!!!

  • I wouldn't call them half reps, but the seat is way too high. His feet are off the ground, and the press starts about navel high, like you said.

He's a strong guy, sure, but that high seat position makes the lift easier.

  • i just don't see no chest muscles moving!

  • thats not really alot to be real with u

  • @edmonddion yup... I guess brains and brawn arent always compatible.

  • This is such an easy machine. You made it way too easy by pushing the weight from too low of an angle.

  • awesome band and song you got :]

  • @NikkiBoy21 Adding the extra plates on the handles does almost nothing. Almost all of the travel of the handles is horizontal, resulting in very little vertical lift component. Plus, for the first six inches of travel, the handles actually travel downward, resulting in a slight reduction in vertical weight. To demonstrate this, just put some plates on the handles, and they will move, raising the end you'd normally put plates.

  • @jenbecht thats how fatties do it:(

  • these guys complaining probably have never done that much weight proveing there retards nd should keep it shut xD

  • lol look at his feet swinging.he looks like humpty dumpty sitting on the wall
