Hollywood history. Victoria loved Albert, treated her son George badly, because her favorite son died of typhoid and she blamed him for it. She stayed away from her office and her duties for so long after Prince Albert died,that she almost brought down the Monarchy., married her daughters off to strengthen alliances, and I doubt that she ever gave a sexy thought to man Brown, he was a bit like Rasputin but they were not an item.

This film is far and away one of my favorites. The rich atmosphere, the historical accuracy, and above all, the fantastic acting, combine to create a celluloid masterpiece. It's a shame that this film is lost on my generation.
