  • is it unlimited data? I got a virgin USB it work great until I use up 2.5GB then it get really slow but it unlimited until I pay month to month. how much is it Netgear monthly? Im also thinking about getting the datajack at datajack(dot)com. It alot cheaper and hold more Gigs, 5gb but the thing with the datajack when you run out of data it just stop and you can't go online anymore until you pay to refill or just wait til next month bill.

  • @ernesdee2o916 It's not monthly. You use this to connect to wifi. This does not just give you Internet access.

  • Hey i'm just wondering where can i buy that? :)

  • @DarkSpine2010 Look on eBay, amazon, wal mart.

  • this does not work like it does in the vid. if you have windows xp, DO NOT BUY THIS!

  • sounds pretty good i'm thinking about getting one for my laptop my built-in wifi WLAN

is disabled so thanks for the helpful video

  • I hate this product... Because when I am on the internet I lose my internet cause of this Product.

  • do you need to pay for the internet every month or its just 1 time?

and how much do it cost?

  • @WirelessHotShot Thanks :D

  • I have this product and love it. It works out of the box with Puppy Linux 5.2, Ubuntu 10.04, 10.10, and 11.04. I primarily web surf, and it's speedy enough for what I do.

  • I'm replacing my netgear adaptor with a linksys adaptor that goes 300mbps.it's about 6 times faster than the netgear, but if you don't use your computer much and don't care about speed, get this one because it's cheaper compared to the linksys. Also, good review!

  • @starsky051 Awesome. Thanks!

  • @WirelessHotShot It worked. Thanks for your review.

  • @starsky051 I'm not so sure but it should. Try it out.

  • I just bought this product. I haven't used it yet. I was wondering if this particular product would work for a 2WIRE router that I got from AT&T. I have an old Gateway Laptop(2004) that runs Windows XP.

  • @goalieborn No. That's not the purpose of this.

  • @WirelessHotShot does it work for wifi enabled devices like my ipod?

  • @WirelessHotShot well, through trial and error i got the adapter to pair up with my wireless N router. and it runs fine.

  • @2WickedDudes Good question. I'm not so sure. But it shouldn't work with n but it SHOULD work with everything (a, b, and g).

  • does the adapter (g54) only work with a wireless g router?

  • I have v2 and v3 it seems the v2 has a better range and aircrack works with the v2 under windows v3 will not work with it but linix will work with v2 or v3 . I have had both for a around a year and both get kinda hot but has crashed only 2 times in a year . I hope the come out with better drivers soon.

  • @WirelessHotShot ok thx for your help

  • @THAPOETA15 Well the best thing to do is to get a router. You can get a router for less than $30. But I'm not sure if you can make a wireless bridge with this product. I haven't tried that out.
