This is the segment that Transworld Sport filmed to showcase the British Open, including interviews with top British and US players Del Robins and Fernando Brown.
@Benak56 Cornwall in Bellingham only has 9 flat relatively short, but ask the locals about the one up the baker highway, worth the trip, it has 36 baskets(homemade) but awesome course
disc golf is so much fun. i played today and on hole 15 at our local course i hit chain for the first time =] the hole was like 250 ft away which isnt that far, but its a small course. Disc golf is a great sport you can enjoy with friends and family. Most courses are free and discs run anywhere from 7.50 to 20 bux, depending on plastic type or if you special order them. disc golf is equally as frustrating as regular golf. the only major difference is what you golf with.
just played today for the time at Cornwall Park in Bellingham WA. It was pretty cool. Beer, frizby, parks...whats not to like. The disks are much smaller/thinner than that of a regular frizby which makes them tougher to throw straight, for a nube. Anyway, it was a lot of fun. I also like to golf but I like the fact that frizby golf is free (at Cornwall Park), and you arent around pretentious, CEO golf pricks. Remember its just a game.
Ball golf is frusrtating not fun, and golf courses are evil. Waste of billions and billions of gallons of water, not to mention all the shady corporate and republican deals that go down on them.
I guess ak5h thinks homosexuality comes from getting off your ass and doing real things in the real world. Sitting ifo your computer all day making stupid comments does not make you cool ak5h. It actually makes you.....well, gay.
It's a fair opinion, mcooley, but have you ever tried throwing a disc 100m, through a narrow tree gap in a strong headwind with water on the left hand side?
That's equally as difficult as striking a ball to hit a fairway.
Throwing a disc with your mates on the beach - not so skillful, i'll agree, but disc golf=ball golf in difficulty.

Disc golf has its fair share of challenges but is a much more casual sport. Which in my opinion makes it far superior!
