Removing a feedneck off your paintball gun

This tip comes in handy if you have a Hybrid, CCM, Trinity, Qlock, or Bob Long etc feedneck on your gun and you want to remove it.

1) Remove the collar, band, or tightening mechanism first

2) Insert a loader into the feedneck to prevent the tabs from bending in

3) Grab with large pliers and twist off

I've found this works better than a strap wrench, or taking a butter knife and sticking it inbetween the tangs. Once off, you can sell it and recover some of the costs of the upgraded feedneck.

If you own an Smart Parts gun like an Ion, SFT or NXT Shocker, don't worry about this method, just stick it in a vice and wrench it off. The stock feedneck isn't worth shit, and Smart Parts puts it on the gun on purpose so you have to drop $40 on a new feedneck. Just throw that piece of shit in the trash, I wish smart parts was just honest about it, and didn't even put it on the gun to begin with.
