"Braveheart was discovered in a public trash bin in Kentucky-- starved, sick and suffering from mange and a massive worm infection. He was so weak he could barely stand. (...) Anyone looking to donate to Braveheart's care can do so by contacting Kristi Thorson at UW at 608-265-9692 or emailing her at kvthorson@vetmed.wisc.edu or online. Not ashamed to say I cried throughout this video, been following his story on Care2. Many thanks & much respect for rescuing little Braveheart! He has probably received more love in the past few weeks than he has all his life, bless him. If only all humans were so kind, what a wonderful world it would be for all the voiceless!

I've been following Braveheart's story and recovery on Facebook. It's wonderful to see caring people come together to help Braveheart and other dogs in similar situations (ie. Patrick). A big thank you to all Braveheart's caregivers at ONE STARFISH REHOMING CONNECTIONS.

I too cried. :0( How can some people be so cruel yet some people act as Earth Angels? Never a happy medium is it?
God bless Bravehearts care takers, the hospital, and the rescue. All of you are Earth Angels, the ones everyone should model after. Infinity love to you!

I cried through out this whole video. That sweet dog. So much suffering, because of humans. I'm so thankful that Marti & Jim Houge rescued this sweet soul. I'm guessing that he's known more love in this short time than he ever did in his entire life. God Bless Braveheart! May he recover quickly, not suffer anymore, and have many more HAPPY years ahead of him. God Bless the Houge's! All of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
