WINNER OF THE AMERICAN GIRL PLAYTHINGS ACADAMY AWARD FOR BEST STORY AND NOMINATED FOR BEST ACTOR (Nellie O'Malley)

NOTE: Please watch Forgotten before watching Forgotten II!

My longest and best stop motion film to date. I began filming this around 2 years ago during the summer, after buying furniture, props, and costumes especially for the movie. It took me around a week to finish filming. I began editing soon after but gradually stopped because my laptop was low in memory and would freeze up often.
Last March I received a new PC and I was able to transfer the project onto the new computer and finish editing.
The whole movie took an incredible amount of work and was made entirely by myself.

PLOT: Following her arrest by an undercover police officer, Nellie is sent to live in a terrible place: Coldrock House for Homeless Girls, run by the cruel and vile Ms. Frouchy. Insisting she is not guilty of stealing, Nellie is tormented by Ms. Frouchy while poor conditions and strenuous physical labor in a textile factory leave her weak and helpless. Nellie's only ounce of hope comes from Hannah, a girl also living at the orphanage, who helps her through the hard times they are both living through. But the person who will actually save Nellie from the bleak inferno will be the person she least expects.

  • thank you so much!! it's rare that i see comments people actually put thought into, and it's very rare that i get comments from people who aren't 9-13 year old AG fans, so I really appreciate it :). I just used windows movie maker to edit it.

  • I like the intro! The music is very nice and fits it well, especially at the beginning. It's not quite as smooth as some of your others, but overall the animation is VERY nice.

    I'll keep watching :)
