Is it possible to clone stem cells without having to get it from aborted fetuses. I hope we could cure poor Micheal the guy deserves a miracle, he's given so much to us in movies he did but he would give up all his money just to be well. He deserves to be the first to get the stem cells if it ever was perfected, we already lost Christopher Reeve, we can't lose Micheal as well

My significant other had what is called an "autologous stem cell transplant", meaning they used his own stem cells (because his own bone marrow was still good)) John had stage 4 Large Diffuse B-cell Lymphoma that kept returning. After several rounds of very high dose chemo, they harvested John's own stem cells from his blood, virtually destroyed his immune system and gave him back his stem cells to rebuild an entirely new immune system. He has been cancer free for 2 years and 2 months!

I hope he's healed, and not for his own sake - but to finally get rid of the real disease in our world. We can fight cancer and lose, and we can fight Parkinson's and lose, but there's nothing worse than seeing an able bodied individual fighting stem cell reasearch because of their biased religious ignorance. That's the real disease we need to cut away. Religion is the only safe harbor for bigotry and hatred left. It's been wiped away from every other aspect of society.

Oprah and Fox are speechless. Adult stem cells and skin cells are the answer. Embryonic stem cell research is just theory.
