The Friends of the Valley Railroad track crew was out working near MP 4.24, removing mud from the rails. Here is a video of some of the railed equipment used for the job.

  • Just off Rt. 154, south of the high bridge, north of Horton Rd.

  • Sorry, but I have no idea of what you're asking.

  • The Friends work on the track with permission from the railroad. So even when working on active track, they are there with authorization,

    and under railroad operating rules.

    Hopefully, the track in the video will be active again within the next 5 or 6 years.

  • are these tracks in use?

  • Not at this time....The Friends are preparing for the eventual return to service.
