Separate Ways: Someone Save Me; Chapter 21 Part 1

Carson's POV

Joe was thinking about marriage! He was acting more like a girl then me. I washed my face with cold water and reached into the cabinet drawer. Aha! A couple days ago, after the whole parent situation, I was driving around depressed. I decided to stop by the music store and get some new drum sticks, as mine were pretty wrecked from all the rehersing. Two girls were outside drinking from brown paper bags. I eyed them up, curiously, annalysing their appearance.

"Want some?" One of them asked me.

I shook my head refusing their offer, but then they pulled out a cigarette.

"How 'bout a smoke?" The other girl offered.

Both of them were dressed in black with classic chequered van sneakers. Their only differences were their height and hair colouring. A tall red head and a short black haired girl. I shrugged my shoulders and approached the girls, recieving a burning cigarette. I inhaled a small puff and immediatly began choking.

"What is this?" I spluttered.
"It's weed. What did you think it was?" the girl laughed.

I smiled meakly and took another drag. The first time was always the worst. After smoking the whole cigarette I began feeling numb, and my head was spinning. It was like being drunk, only better. I quickly befriended the girls and they offered me some extra, encase I got depressed again. I took it thinking nothing about using it, except for now.

I lit the cigarette and took a long drag, blowing the smoke into my reflection from the mirror. What had happened to me? I hardly recognised myself anymore. I continued smoking, letting my brain melt into nothing-ness. I dithered around the bathroom knocking things from shelves and giggling quietly.

"Carson! Are you okay?" Joe yelled from my room.
"Sure sure." I replied, smiling.

I located my 'hidden alcohol' from behind the toilet seat and took a long swig. I had swiped this from Mom's stash, when she became depressed she always boozed. Said it made her feel better. It sure did. I slumped down onto the cold floor, resting against the bath edge. I threw my head back, making it spin even more as I swigged the beer. After a while of smoking and drinking Joe began knocking against the door.

"Carson. What are you doing?" he asked.

I couldn't be bothered sitting up from my position, which was now lying on the floor. I ignored his shouting and listened to my thoughts. Nothing.

"I'm coming in Carson." He stated. He paused a while before coming into the room. "Oh my god! What are you doing?" he yelled, eyeing up the empy bottle and burnt out cigarette.
"Nothing." I giggled.
"Are you, drunk?" he asked, hesitantly.
"Drunk. High. Same diff." I mumbled.

He gasped in horror and quickly turned on the shower head, filling the bath with water. He laid me in gently, splashing my warm face with the water.

"Kevin! I need your help!" He yelled.

I gazed into his eyes as the whole room seemed to become further away.

"Joe, what's happening?" I whispered.
"Why don't you tell me." He said.

Then everything disappeared.

Sorry for not uploading yesterday, I have major flu! It sucks, but only one more week of school :D

I spoke with Mr.Nathan today. We were in his classroom and my friend wrote 'Kat loves Mr.Nathan' on his smart board.

I panicked and tried rubbing it off but it saved! I ran lol.
I hope he doesn't remember that!

The two girls are Grace and Nicole and I have included pictures of them at the end of the video!
