I've never played with this particular ball.. I might buy it.

However, I must say.. I have a new found respect for pro Basketball players after buying a Spalding NBA Official Game Ball ($100 non the less!).. that thing is crazy!

I have no idea how they manage to play with that ball.. it's shocking really.

If you're a kid/teen aspiring to be a bball player my advice is to invest in an Official game ball as soon as possible.. get used to that thing early, it's nuts.

Honestly I didn't know much about the different kinds of basketballs till I was at the sporting gods store today. When I touched the neverflat it felt like skin of a boa constrictor. And I thought "hey cool." Then I thought, but what does this do to the game? I appreciate them trying to make better products, but there's only so much wiggle room till you change the game, and I think ball weight would be a huge factor.

@billthecat666 Yeah I know, I'm getting used to it though, I use my Rawlings or TF at the gym and my Neverflat on my driveway court. I can still tell it's a little heavy though. I also have a super wack ball called a professional track and my little brother Riley has a super duper duper wack ball called spalding All-star. But the wackest ball ever is this one called "The rock" by anaconda they have a good version now but the old version sucked so bad.

That's strange that they would make the ball heavier. If someone is going to play the game, at least the ball's weight should stay standard.

@DeffRock1 The neverflat sucks man, it's heavy. It's ok once you wear it down but yeah TF-1000 zk pro is way softer and better. It's the high-school ball in cali. I play AAU we play with a rawlings but it's soft, it's pretty tight. But seriously neverflat is a wal-mart ball. Go to any gym and they will pick a zk over it anyday.

@Sigrafix Lol how is it crazy? Some dude brings one to my gym all the time it's my 3rd favorite ball. Unless you mean that weird one they were using two years ago for the first half of the season.
