On 03/09/11 I recorded this colony in another village where the poor juvenile crested honey buzzard met its fate. This wasp is also very common in our area.

  • @mbhsug Dear Friend, we are used to these wasps (and other species of wasps, hornets and bees). Unless you disturb them the are perfectly friendly. This hive was just 6 ft. above my head while I was recording it.

  • Here, people would immediately call the fire department. These guys would destroy the wasp nest. Everything to ensure that no person will be stung.
