That old guy is unbelievable

Bill Monroe played at the Edmonton Folk Fest back in the nineties and it was more than words can describe. He did a full gospel set under the moon and stars and it was bone chilling awsome. The Grandfather of Bluegrass is an understatement, I still feel the chills when I remember that night. After the show I rode back to the hotel on the same bus as Bill, he was the last one on and everyone stood and clapped as he sat down. If you didn't see Bill Monroe live your life can never be full.

Bill is great! Nice 'do, Marty! If you mated Mel Gibson's "Lethal Weapon" hair with Robert Smith's hair from the Cure, I think that's what you'd get.

look at 3:13...thats Bill lowering the stand, you can even see its bent when he starts playin...look up some of his other southern flavor vids if im not mistaken this was just somethin he did during the song....

thats so odd, I mean it seems like a very uncomfortable position..... but I think you may be correct

well remember he was probably a lot younger when he started doin it haha
