  • a cello is a very sad instrument. While playing, whether sad or happy, one feels the lone-ness, as being one with the cello. To play a piece, such as this, brings one closer to the sadness, the desolation, the glory of being able to play such a piece of music that only a few can understand. To play the cello is not just an art, it is life and death.
