SHOCKING and DISGUSTING

These are the deplorable conditions at the local animal shelter here in a small community in Texas. Only the dogs are shown as the cats are locked up inside. No one is ever there. If the dogs look this bad, imagine how the cats inside are living. The James Arthur Petree Animal Refuge Center is a new non profit animal refuge and money is desperately needed. This local shelter lost their contract for Animal Control. Now the animals go to the Humane Society where they face death. JAPARC is a no kill facility and we need more room. I hate it as well, which is why I try to bring attention to it. If enough people are made aware of things like this, then it can be stopped. Otherwise, people like this are able to just continue what they are doing with no consequence.

Sorry, but these animals deserve a hell of a lot better! Just bull crap what the people running the shelter allow!

Pick up the poop. Use a hose. Scrub kennels. That helps stop spreading of things.

Why is water, food, cleanliness, health, comfort not an focused on at this place?

I work for an animal shelter and if the staff left stuff like this, we'd be fired!!!!

Get some staff that actually will do work!!
