More than 700 freedom-loving citizens of Texas joined people from more than 100 cities across the world on July 25, 2009 for a rally in support of the Iranian people and in condemnation of the human rights abuses being committed by the Iranian government. Sponsors for this event are: Shirin Ebadi, 2003 Nobel Peace Laureate, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty Int'l USA, Nobel Woman's Initiative, Iranian League for Defense of Human Rights (LDDHI), International Campaign for Human Rights in Iran, Omid Advocates for Human Rights and many more...

What: Rally, part of United for Iran Global Action Day (http://www.united4iran.org) -- Ahmadinejad is not the President of Iran. Uniting Texans in Austin for the cause of the Iranian people.

When: Saturday, July 25th, 8:00 pm - 10:00pm

Where: Austin, Texas: Start at City Hall, March on 1st street bridge towards Auditorium Shores where there will be music and speeches.
