@sedod66 collar pins carry a level of sophistication but wearing your dinner to a restaurant has and will never be fashionable i agree is just fucking retarded...
-
@sedod66 ya that safety pin looking one isn't that cool, I have seen better looking ones that when worn with a full taylored 3 piece actually look pretty darn sweet.
-
@SKOPE915 ya it just looks like a safety pin

lady gaga likes to wear dresses made of raw meat....dont make her fashionable. it makes her fucking retarded. just like that collar pin!

@TechnoLife120 With a soft collar shirt there's less damage than you might think, the holes close up when the shirt is washed. Though if the fibres get broken it'll wear down over time. It's nicer than a button-down collar IMO, and if I did it I'd limit it to a couple of shirts at the most. I prefer stiffened spread collars with a tie.
(Phew...replying to a year-old comment!)

they sell paper clips?

@TechnoLife120 it isn't bad once you take the pin out the hole closes up it is just like wearing a pin or button on a t shirt it wont really leave a hole

Same thing with a Tab collar hard to find these days

collar pins look retarded.

Cool shirt, it's from Filippa K!
the mere thought of piercing holes on collars of something as sophisticated and elegant as a dress shirt.~shivers~. it's like stabbing the love of your life with a gold letter opener. this is something i'll probably not do.

i've got a tie bar that does not require me to punch holes into my shirt collar.
