Dude you need to spray a silver coat than the red speck. I did it the other day on a cruiser. It makes the color pop so much more

@H3llisG0n3xx I don't know. I figure you can. I was goofing with a can the other day and notices that it seems to have a wide, flat spray pattern. It may be like that so the flakes won't get clogged, so I am not sure how changing the caps would affect the spray.

whats role does the engine enamel play in ur painting?

@sixdeuce4trey I think that it is a bit tougher paint than regular rattle can. I have habitually used this paint since I screwed up a gas tank on a Suzuki Savage motorcycle in the mid 90's. Back then I was really using flat black and engine enamel allowed me to do that without having to use a protective clear coat. This particular paint is fuel and heat resistant. I like that regardless of whether I am running an engine on the bike or not.

Nice, i love the dupli color paints. I painted my schwinn cruiser with the blue metal specks. I was looking at this color, wondering how it would look. Looks nice now i gotta do a bike in that color. Lol I'm broke now after using 6 cans of metal specks, and about 6 cans of the clear engine enamel.

@rkorson42098 heck yeah, that's about $120.00. Thanks for the compliment. I've discovered that the color of the base coat has a huge effect on how the top coats come out.

@5cud6uddy really the base make that much of a diff.

@rkorson42098 I do think so. I was using a different paint all together and laid it down over some grey primer. It looked way to bright. Then I put it on a black base and it was darker.
