Anyone who doesn't think that the constant reminders about Estrada are just election politics needs to have their head examined.
The Republicans want to save face with Hispanics by saying, "we nominated a Hispanic too!". It's disrespectful though just to nominate someone because of their race when that person is not qualified.
Sotomayor has come off as intellegent and well versed. No where near the flaming liberal they want her to appear.
Her record stands solid: modest and impartial.
