I agree that he should get time for what he did but I don't understand why you don't see this as rape? She was underage. A 44 year old man having sex with a 13 year old girl is disgusting, no matter what country. He pleaded guilty to having sex with her and then fled the country. To me, he must have been running because he knew what was coming to him...
