Hey guys,
sorry I didn't upload anything last week. I actually made this last week, but YouTube wouldn't let me upload it, but now it's all good.
Since I restarted school, I noticed I've been finding a lot of awesome stuff for free, legally, like music and 3D software, so I thought I'd share, because who doesn't like free stuff. I know that many of you probably just download stuff anyways, but it feels good sometimes to get things legit, and it also feels good not to have to spend any money, so this is the best of both worlds.
Software covered:
DAZ 3D Studio
Posing and dressing software, powerful because of being able to deform the figure, while keeping UVs and clothes intact.
http://www.daz3d.com/i/software/daz_studio?
Vue 9 Pioneer
Powerful landscape generating software, with the ability to sculpt land, add water, vegetation, and skies.

Sculptris
Intuitive sculpting and painting software, that's very easy to use, featuring dynamic tessellation.
http://www.pixologic.com/sculptris/
Blender
Modelling and animation package, which includes built in sculpting, compositing, and game engine.
http://www.blender.org/
Project Photofly
Cloud-based software that creates a 3D mesh from photos.

wow these are all cool but can they all be used with udk game engine

@2centthompson Blender should work fine. Vue isn't necessary because UDK has built in environment modelling tools, as well as speedtree for foliage. DAZ does allow export to .FBX, but I think it requires a plug-in. Sculptris can't export to .FBX, but you wouldn't want to anyways. I'd export the sculpt as an .obj and retopologize it in another program and export it as an .FBX from there to use. Same with a mesh made with Photofly, because there'll be a lot of unnecessary geometry.

@The3dmaster11 I don't think I'd call DAZ and Vue beginner, because I've seen some pretty awesome stuff made with both. And in terms of legitimacy, Vue is about as high up as you get outside of the main packages, and is used on lots of features. If you were looking for free programs as in those that are completely unrestricted, then it's true that Vue isn't that, but it's still worthwhile. Also, the second episode has more full programs, if you're still interested.
