@flyod26 There's not much about the Mark 5, but there is some info about the Mark 3! You can also contact Appy Trails! The owner will take the time to explain his stuff and answer any questions you have! Go to their web site for his company info. Also, Campmor sell his tents! There a a few people who have reviewed them and that helped me out alot! I just got the Mark3 and I really love it too! BIG FAN! Hope this helped and thanks for watching!
Thank you so much for review. I've been looking at this tent for a while, and have been wary b/c I've never camped in a tent w/o a floor. But recently I've wanted to lighten the load and camp more realistically. Can you tell me where to get more info on this tent? Thanks again!
@daboy233 I think that would be the best way to go! If you do get the Mark III, make sure you add some shock cord to all the grommets! Reports are that they may rip out in high winds! The shock cord will give it a little give, but still keep the tent taught!
@ridebks i'm looking at the Appy Trails Mark III for my solo lightweight travels. i wasn't sure what to use as a floor if it was raining but i will look into the tyvek ground cloth.
@daboy233 I've only used it once and didn't take one with me! 1st time ever! I kind of liked it because i didn't have to worry about tracking dirt inside! I think i will make a tyvek ground cloth but not a very big one. Maybe a little bigger then my sleeping pad.
