  • Don't hit the tip, just spread the back part of the leaf out

  • 335lb Peter wright

  • You can write me what the painting at the end? oil or wax ... thanks

  • @rockystrip bare metal, just wire brushed and cooled with water. I do use bees wax and linseed oil mixture for interior work.

  • nice, you going to make any other videos?

  • @MrThahey I plan to make more videos, maybe in the spring when work slows down a little.

  • fantastic

  • You seems to have a pretty sharp pen? Amazing blacksmith!

  • Nice

  • nice leaf! you make them very similarly to how I make mine. I use a chisel for the spine as well as the veins of the leaf. You look really accurate with the cross pein though, if I tried that, I'd make a mess of the leaf by the time I was done. :)

  • Good work..

  • How do you keep the tip from getting wider?

  • @zooseheidi he may be talking about an indonesian 'kris', i doubt it'd be any more difficult to make then a regular blade, though you might have difficulty regulating the width and amount of bevel.

  • what anvil is that? a trenton? pw? hb? columbian?
