David Darling is a genius. His music is amazing.
I also remember that David Darling played the cello with the Paul Winter Consort and did Icarus in the 70's. Look and up Paul Winter Consort and Icarus. I know that you all will love it. I would imagine that David Darling is not allowed to play icarus live due to some copy write stuff.

@1619unit that's right, I have both recordings, and I remember that in one of them (I think in Icarus) there's the first version of what later would be called just "Ode", in the ECM release of the great "Cycles", with Garbarek, Walcott and Castro-Neves I think. The first and original version was called "Ode to a Fillmore Dressing Room", with Ralph Towner on the classical guitar. When I listened to that version... it blew my mind.
