The Rio Grande Gorge is about 650 feet deep where the Gorge bridge goes over it. Beautiful scenery and very exciting. It is about a 20 minute drive from Taos, New Mexico. The river looks like a small ribbon of water from the vantage point on the bridge.
I know it's not very good quality; it was made with an inexpensive camcorder in 1998. I still thought it would be interesting to have it here on YouTube.

Ive been to taos twice...that bridge is also in the movie "natural born killers"...
the part where they get married...she tosses that white thingy off the bridge and it
floats down...i was there aug of 97 for 2 weeks or so...and then again in 2001 i think..
beautiful place...

Hundreds of people commit suicide off that bridge, there should be a trapeze net mid way to the bottom !
