@crossan9415: what that guy means is TKD also has some grappling aspects but they mainly use the leg; the type of TKD that uses all types of skills ( punching kicking grappling using weapons nd etc) it's called hwarangdo.... I think that's were TKD orginates from.... But if u look closely at TKD it also had some fighting skills too, its cuz in Olympics they only execute the snapping kicks so it can make that sound for the judges to hear

@TwistedWarp and i haven't misjudjed it either because i studied this shit martial art for 3 years then i decided to study Muay Thai which is WWAAYYYY better. and the only kick that has any power at all is the tornado kick depending on how fast you spin.

we don't bash fencing or wrestling for being unrealistic, kuz we kno iz just a sport..a game..with rules. so is tkd. anyways,Its like sumone arguing why "Chess n checkers" is'nt like real war...think about it. dis topic is old n silly. It just a martial sport now, its about da game, not real combat. so enjoy da game or just dont watch it, simple as dat.
